This site was created half way through 2008 with the intention of using it to display some of my favourite images from my steadily growing collection. I figured there is no point taking nice photographs if nobody ever sees them...
I am Reuben Theobald... I was born in Thames, New Zealand, and have lived in New Plymouth for most of my life. I undertook schooling in New Plymouth and was fortunate enough to enjoy several extra-curricular activities in sporting, musical and academic fields. I was equiped with what was at the time a reasonably good digital camera, which started my interest in photography.
After finishing high school at New Plymouth Boys' High in 2005, I moved to Auckland to begin a Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Auckland. During my tertiary study I have acquired a digital SLR camera and have begun the long journey of learning to take beautiful, meaningful photographs.
